Meet the Team

CEO
Tore Enger
Tore founded TECO Group and TECO Maritime Group in 1994. He is a true entrepreneur and has initiated a large number of products and services for the maritime industry throughout the last 30 years. He has an extensive network in the Maritime industry world-wide and towards investors. Tore was the Executive Chairman and major shareholder in Scanship ASA which was listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange from 2008 to 2017.

CFO
Pal Christian Johnsen
Pal Christian holds a Bachelor of Commers (Hons) in Finance and Accounting from the Flinders University of South Australia in addition to a Bachelor degree from the Norwegian Police Academy. He has been part of the TECO Group of companies for 11 years, the last seven years as CFO in TECO 2030. Prior to this, he has, amongst other, held the positions as CFO in one of Oslo’s largest real estate development companies. He has also spent six years with the Norwegian Police force, including three years at the National Authority for Investigation and Prosecution of Economic and Environmental Crime.

Bettina Nowak
Bettina contributes more than 20 years of experience in the maritime industry and extensive international investor relations expertise. A native Austrian, she has particularly strong ties to German-speaking markets, where she has built lasting relationships with stakeholders and investors. Bettina began her career in the maritime sector in 2004 with Scanship, focusing on the cruise industry. In 2007, she was appointed Managing Director and Partner of Scanship Americas, a role she held for 11 years. In March 2018, Bettina joined TECO as CEO in Miami, assuming responsibility for U.S. operations. Today, she leverages over 15 years of experience with the TECO Group of companies.

Chairman
Sigurd Gaarder Lange
Sigurd Gaarder Lange, born 1975, joined the TECO Group of Companies in 2000 and became a partner in TECO Group from 2005. Lange has held various positions, such as CEO, CFO and as board member, in companies controlled by the TECO Group. Among these several stock listed companies in Norway and Canada, such as Davie Shipyard Inc and Scanship Holding ASA. He has also served as CFO and Director for a major Nordic importer and producer of alcoholic beverages in Norway, Sweden and Finland; CASK/Moestue. Since July 2019 he has held the position as Group CEO TECO Maritime Group AS. Sigurd represents the largest shareholder, TECO Group AS, with a holding of approx. 38 % of the company.

Eskil Hansen
Eskil Hansen, born 1970, holds an engineering degree in Electrical and Automation and has an EMBA in Shipping Offshore and Finance from BI & NTU in Singapore. Eskild brings 30 years of experience from various management positions in companies such, amongst others, Procon, Hydralift, NOV and Aker Solutions. He has founded several companies in different businesses and holds multiple board positions in companies within the Energy sector, Aquaculture, Real Estate and IT Business. Eskil has been a corner stone investor in TECO 2030 since 2019 and represents the third largest shareholder.

Hans-Peter Klein
Hans-Peter Klein, born 1982, holds a M.Sc. Automation Technology & Business from CAMPUS 02 University of Applied Sciences and Technical University of Dublin. He has 10 years of experience in project management and engineering at AVL, leading project teams in Fuel Cell Systems, HV Battery Pack development and has worked for various OEMs (Daimler, MAN, CAT, Ford, Maserati), as well as four years project management for fully automated intralogistics systems at SSI SCHÄFER. Hans-Peter worked approx. three years for TECO 2030 as Chief Operating Officer and is now Director of Business Operations in SunHydrogen, Inc, the second largest shareholder of TECO Fuel Cell Technology
